This website serves as a platform to find excavations and field schools around the world. It is here to encourage international and inter-continental relationships and experiences, particularly for archaeology students.

Excavations

Find your next dream excavation here. Excavations are searchable by location or month of the year. If you want to search by something more specific (e.g. "Free" or "Field School") use the search bar at the top of the website.

Submit a Dig

Submit and excavation to be added to the website. It may take up to 1 week to appear on the site. Excavations can be large or small. This is a chance to let the world know about your site, even if you only have space for one/two additional volunteers. 

Blog

Advice and stories from the field, photos and strange encounters galore. It may be updated regularly or infrequently but I hope that both life lessons and laughter will eventually be found in this section.
